Every good story begins with a great idea. The idea of improving something. For example, avoiding wastewater in your own production. That’s where the story of our VACUDEST began, a green idea that gradually developed into a blue door on a fully fledged system. And it was all made possible by the team at H2O GmbH. Since the company was established exactly 20 years ago, it has developed into one of the technology leaders in vacuum distillation systems. The festive season means joy. Especially for children. For that reason, and because it simply touches our hearts. H2O GmbH will be using its Christmas donation this year to support “Red Noses International – Clowndoctors”.

Dina Alessa from Syria and Lamin Colley from Gambia fled from their homelands in 2015 and 2014. Today, they already were at H2O GmbH in Steinen for two years. Dina Alessa is successfully working in the laboratory and Lamin Colley is in the final stages of his training as an electronics engineer.

The process of anodising is a widely used in the surface treatment of aluminium to achieve the best possible coating results. The individual process steps produce a wide variety of wastewaters that require targeted treatment. The vacuum distillation process is an efficient and, above all, sustainable solution.

The company headquarters were in Steinen, Baden since 2004. In 2018, we will invest around 4.5 million dollars in the extension of the production and administration building.
