New head of production at H2O GmbH

Steinen. Marco Baumann has been the new head of production at H2O GmbH since 1 July 2022. He has been working for the Baden-based company since 2014 and previously worked in the design and construction department of the same company. After his move into manufacturing, Baumann looks back on a turbulent start to a special year.

Since the end of the Corona pandemic and the start of the Ukraine war, work in production is primarily characterised by “crisis management”. The situation demands a high degree of flexibility above all. "Despite joint efforts by purchasing and logistics, there are still problems with material availability and delivery times in some cases. “We have to make the best out of the available resources and material”, says Baumann. "In this respect, I am very grateful that our team sticks together so well and that I can count on the support of my employees."

For the future, Marco Baumann hopes that the tense situation will calm down and that the team will continue to pull together well.
