How to reduce COD and trace substances in industrial wastewater? We know the answer! In our free webinar, Uwe Hanschke, head of application technology at H2O GmbH, and Fabian Argast, chemist and application engineer, compare different methods to safely eliminate these contaminants in industrial wastewater. They also keep an eye on economic viability as well as sustainability of the treatment methods.

Chemical oxygen demand (COD):

- Bulk parameter for quantifying the load of organic substances in wastewater.

- Challenge: Strict monitoring values make a reduction of COD necessary.

- Solutions: Presentation of different technologies with their pros and cons.

Micro pollutants:

- Large number of synthetically produced substances that are found in water bodies and therefore also in drinking water.

- Challenges: Tightening of monitoring values for industrial wastewater in the near future / often expensive, additional treatment stages necessary to eliminate micro pollutants from the wastewater treatment plant effluent.

- Solutions: Presentation of technologies for early elimination of micro pollutants from wastewater with pros and cons.
