Join us on a journey through the world of Christmas drinks:

Mexico: Ponche Navideño

How about Christmas in Mexico? There, people enjoy a fruity, non-alcoholic apple punch with guavas and tejocotes, Christmas-spiced with cinnamon and tamarind pulp.

Norway: Julegløgg

Do you already know the Norwegian mulled wine? Glögg is the high-proof alternative to the classic. In Norway, it is often drunk with a shot of white rum, but vodka or brandy can also be added.

Ireland: Hot Toddy

The Irish drink is also known as "hot whisky". It consists of schnapps, honey, lemon and hot water. In some variants, sugar, tea or spices are also added.

Korea: Sujeonggwa

Another punch, but this time it is served cold. It consists of dried berries, cinnamon, ginger and pine nuts.

Chile and Colombia: Cola de Mono

Cola de mono (translated as "monkey's tail") is similar to a White Russian. Although there are many variations of this drink, it mainly contains aguardiente (brandy), milk, sugar, coffee and cloves. In the non-alcoholic version, the schnapps is simply omitted.

Greece: Rakomelo

Finally, it gets high-proof again. As the name suggests, the Greek Christmas drink consists of raki schnapps (rako) and honey (meli). Cloves and cinnamon sticks give the drink the Christmas touch.

Now that you have the drink ideas, all you need are the guests. Because the best presents are not under the Christmas tree, but sitting at the table with you.
