25 years ago, the world was a different place:  the euro was introduced as booking money - two years later as cash, we could marvel at a total solar eclipse over Europe, the quiz program "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" flickered across the screens for the first time (France only in 2000) and the hits "Mambo No. 5", "Genie in a Bottle", "Baby One More Time" and "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" were played up and down on the radio. The end of the 90s was a great time! And a very special one for us too - H2O GmbH was founded 25 years ago as the result of a management buy-out. Happy Birthday H2O! Celebrate with us: with attractive anniversary promotions!

Battle cry: "VACUDEST will rise again!"

After the sale of the Wittig plant of MANNESMANN DEMAG AG to GARDNER DENVER in 1998, the VACUDEST product range was on the brink of collapse. After a year of tough negotiations, three employees succeeded in February 1999 in acquiring the VACUDEST division as an independent management buy-out.

With us: Our Managing Director Matthias Fickenscher. "We continued to see a future in industrial wastewater treatment via the VACUDEST. And we didn't want to simply throw away the work we had put into machine development and customer relations at Mannesmann Demag Wittig. We wanted to make the VACUDEST a success again!" - and with the battle cry "VACUDEST will rise again!" they did.

Within 25 years, the initial 3 founders and 6 colleagues in a small company headquarter in Maulburg have grown into a strong team of over 130 people who are committed to the vision of a wastewater-free future for industry worldwide.
